报告人简介：Prof. Nguyen received his Ph.D. in 2014 from the University of Tours. He subsequently spent five years in three postdoctoral positions at EPFL Lausanne, SNS Pisa, and New York University Abu Dhabi. In 2019, he joined ShanghaiTech University, China, and he is now affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.His research spans several areas of analysis and PDEs, including regularity theory for quasilinear elliptic and parabolic equations, nonlinear potential theory, the DiPerna–Lions theory for transport equations, free boundary problems in fluid dynamics (such as the Muskat and Peskin problems), mean-field limits, nonlinear Landau damping, and the regularity theory of the Boltzmann equation.
