报告摘要:In this talk, we will introduce some highly efficient solvers for the Wigner-Poisson systems (some with phonon scattering), developed recently by us. The Wigner-Poisson system is one of the most important tools for modeling quantum effects in nano-devices, thus the development of its fast solvers meets the demands of semiconductor industry. we proposed several hybrid schemes, which are both linear or even nonlinear-unconditionally L2-stable, thus large time-step is allowed and the efficiency is highly improved. Comparing to all of the existing explicit solvers, ours are the fastest. Finally, we validate the performance of our methods for both models through simulation of Resonant Tunneling Devices.
报告人简介:姚文琦,华南理工大学数学公司副教授,于2014年在北京大学获博士学位,2014至2016年在新加坡国立大学从事博士后工作。研究方向为半导体器件模拟,复杂系统的稀有事件等。在《SIAM J.SCI. COMPUT.》、《J. COMPUT. PHYS.》、《J. SCI. COMPUT.》等杂志发表论文二十余篇,主持包括面上项目在内国自然基金三项,省部级基金两项。
