报告摘要:We investigate in this talk the global well-posedness of some viscous surface waves with the reference domain being the horizontal infinite slab. The fluid dynamics are governed by the gravity-driven incompressible or compressible Navier-Stokes equations. We develop a mathematical approach to establish global well-posedness of the viscous system based on the Lagrangian framework, which can be also applied to study the vanishing surface tension limit of the free boundary problem of the viscous fluid dynamical system.
报告人简介:桂贵龙教授,博士生导师,主要研究流体力学方程组的数学理论,论文发表在CPAM, CMP, ARMA, Adv.Math.,CPDE,JMPA,JFA等国际著名数学杂志。主持国家自然科学基金项目4项,作为核心成员参加国家自然科学基金重点项目2项;主持省级教学团队及省级研究生精品示范课程等。曾获中国数学会第十届钟家庆数学奖、中国科公司百篇优秀博士论文奖、中国科公司经理特别奖,入选陕西省百人计划全职项目和湖南省“芙蓉学者奖励计划”特聘教授等。
