报告摘要：This talk is about the fundamental properties of the dichotomous noise and the main analytical results about one-dimensional stochastic differential equations forced by additive and multiplicative dichotomous noise. Noise-induced transitions (i.e., structural changes of the system behavior) in systems driven by such type of noise are also recalled.

报告人简介：Peter Kloeden教授是国际著名数学家。他在应用分析、随机微分方程理论、动力系统与数值分析，以及它们在工程学、环境科学、气象学和海洋学等中的应用等领域发表论文300余篇，出版学术专著13部。2006年，Peter Kloeden 教授被美国工业与应用数学学会(SIAM)授予W.T.和Idalia Reid奖，以表彰他在微分方程理论和计算分析方面的重要贡献，并于1995年和2009 年分别被选为澳大利亚和美国工业与应用数学学会(SIAM)Fellow。
